Cast Iron Cooking – “Taste of Persia”
June 5 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm| $180
Many people have a cast iron pan but aren’t sure how to make the best use of it. Learn why it makes a difference to use cast iron in certain applications. From entree through dessert, you’ll discover new favorite go-to recipes that are simply better out of a hot cast iron pan. We’ll teach you the cold-pan method of searing chicken thighs for extremely crispy skin; saffron-scented rice cooked upside down in a pan; buzz together a richly spiced red sauce that will pop against fresh green asparagus, and we’ll show you how easy it is to make homemade biscuits for hot cobbler!
crispy chicken thighs with harissa ~ saffron rice with tahdig ~ charred asparagus with muhummara ~ strawberry rhubarb cobbler with pistachio-orange biscuits and rose chantilly
