Registration Details

Due to the nature of our classes, all payments are non-refundable or exchangeable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. However, we are unable to refund, exchange, or apply a credit to another class. All payments are final.

We always delight in taking a field trip to our local farmers market! We’ll meet at the Lake Oswego Farmers Market entrance and take a tour, selecting what looks best to take back to The Kitchen. You’ll develop an understanding of ripeness, choosing the best produce and why, and how it can inspire you to create beautiful seasonal dishes at home. Maybe we’ll see something that you’ve never worked with and grab that too!

You’ll master a few techniques like how to properly balance a vinaigrette and making a quick pesto, opening up many possibilities when you peruse your pantry and pair it with your market basket.  In addition, you’ll learn about basic knife skills, what pantry staples you must have, and we’ll create recipes together inspired by the market!

We’ll end class around The Kitchen table, enjoying lunch from our bounty with local wine.
