Dreaming of summer evenings in Spain?
So many great things come from a Spanish pantry: Saffron, manchego, chorizo, pimenton, anchovy, sherry vinegar…let’s use them all to create a celebration around the traditional Spanish dish, Paella! We’ll use fresh, seasonal Pacific Northwest seafood to make a delectable seafood and chorizo paella outside on the grill. While we simmer our paella, we’ll have a fun and delicious exploration of tapas like everyone’s favorite chilled summer soup and delicious way to enjoy radicchio. Plus, for dessert we’re candy-making – folding salty Marcona almonds into sticky-sweet nougat.
On the menu….Summer Seafood and Chorizo Paella ~ Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho ~ Charred Radicchio Salad ~ Turrón de Alicante (Nougat w/Marcona Almonds and Honey)
Class culminates in a family style meal served around our beautiful barnwood tables.
A welcome cocktail and glass of wine with dinner is included. Additional wine & beer is available for purchase. Non-alcoholic beverages are always included.
