Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our events, classes, and dinners, all payments are non-refundable or exchangeable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. However, we are unable to refund, exchange, or apply a credit to another offering. All payments are final.

Cozy up to the fire AND COOK!

This has probably been the most requested class topic this year – so here it is:  cooking with fire!  Talk about bringing in the experts….Chef Jason French created a successful business enterprise with his Portland restaurant, Ned Ludd, which was built around one cooking device:  a wood fired oven.  Come to The Kitchen to see him in action around our (much smaller!) wood fired oven.  Maybe you have a wood-fire oven at home, or maybe you are just fascinated like many about applying fire to food, this class is going to be a great night.  He will go over the basics of building the fire, wood type and size and the glory of charred (not burnt!) food.

As always, class culminates in a family style meal around our beautiful barn wood tables.

On the menu…Spiced Flat Bread with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Marinated Haloumi ~ Charred Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Balsamic
~Oysters with Champagne Sabayon ~ Hen Thighs with Leeks and Mushroom ~ Blistered Chocolate Cookies with Sea Salt

Registration is for one person. A welcome cocktail and glass of wine with dinner are included.  Additional wine and beer are available for purchase.
