Pressure Cooker Cooking Class

The pressure cooker is no longer a thing of the past! With modern equipment (heck, you’ve probably already bought one) and a bit of confidence, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been using it for years. Beets done in 15 minutes? Braised greens in less than 20? Carnitas in an hour? Your idea of weeknight suppers will be changed for good. We’ll end the class with a beautiful dinner around the kitchen table with wine.

Picnic Nights in the Garden

Interested in a more casual evening in the Garden? Come for a menu that is inspired by summer in Spain, with a sensational twist! Beginning June 3, we will be offering weekly Picnics in the Garden every Thursday at 6 pm, in our three garden settings: greenhouses, gazebos and at the Chef’s Table.  Grab a group of friends, or your whole family and join a fun on-farm evening!

Celebrating Oregon Wines Cooking Class- White Walnut Estate

We couldn’t get enough of Oregon Wine in Oregon Wine Month so we are continuing our celebration.  We are so excited to have you back in our kitchen for a fun and informative  demonstration cooking class all about pairing Oregon wines with seasonal food!   We are thrilled to share the winemaking expertise of Chris Mazepink, former head winemaker at Archery Summit, Shea Wine Cellars and Benton Lane, as he introduces you to White Walnut Estate.   It is with these wines that you will develop a deep understanding of terroir.  Through side by side tastings and pairings of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir he grows and makes, you’ll learn about the subtle nuances that land and farming techniques bring to the bottle.  Help us celebrate the addition of our newest member to the Kitchen team, Jean Householder.  She joins us as a certified sommelier, with over 20 years of wine experience.

to experience a collection of his wines 

Chefs Jessica & Kate will walk through a demonstration cooking class featuring a five course seasonal menu where we share the tips and tricks to creating a beautifully paired menu.  Jean will educate you on the individual pairings with each course while Chris educates you about the wine making process that goes into the glass.

  • The $290 registration includes 2 people and a four course meal with generous pairings for each course.  Additional people may be added to your group for $145 each.  Rest assured that each group will be socially distanced for your safety.
  • Seating will be offered for parties of 2 at each of our bistro tables, and 4-8 person groups at each of our two Chef’s tables.
