Already thinking about Fall…

Already thinking about Fall…

We are celebrating our first tomatoes, yet prepping for fall.  How does it happen so quickly? With our garden prepped and our seeds ordered, we are ready for some fall planting! This wonderful weather is perfect for direct seeding. The soil is warm but not so hot to where it will dry out too quickly. It’s sowing time!

WHAT’S NEW

We got our seeds this week and have been working on planting some of our fall crops. After cutting down our snow peas, cabbage, and pulling the last of our garlic we have ample space to get some new crops going.

A MGF TIP

Crops in the brassica family require a lot of nitrogen to grow big and beautiful. Replace them with a nitrogen fixation crop like beans to replenish your soil!

OUR CURRENT PLANT HIGHLIGHTS

Come check out the garden to see what else we have growing!
