The Kitchen was born from a dream to bring people closer to the source of their food. Our mission is twofold: to encourage seasonal and local eating and to empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence to expertly prepare and cook the food they consume.

Our exact amount differs monthly depending on private events and the season, but you can expect 8-12. We do our best to offer a wide selection of classes each month so keep your eyes peeled!

Absolutely no need to come in as a chef! We meet you where you are.

Our trained chefs find joy in helping you gain greater confidence and knowledge in cooking no matter your culinary abilities and background.

Our chefs all come from different culinary backgrounds; they are all trained and ready to educate you on everything from foraging and harvesting to knife skills and baking.

We recommend our classes for adults and older teens. However, we also provide specialized classes and camps exclusively designed for teens or kids. We aim to create inclusive culinary experiences for every age group.

If there is a particular class you and your teen(s) are interested in, please contact us and we can ask the chefs if the minimum age can be dropped.

Yes, you can obtain a certificate either online or during your visit.

To request one online, navigate to the ‘Contact Us’ tab on our website, where you’ll find options to receive a certificate via email or mail.

If you prefer an in-person experience, just approach any member of our team during your visit, and we’ll happily provide you with a physical copy on the spot.

No need to worry! Our space comes fully equipped with adjustable seating, flatware, glassware, linens, all provided at no additional charge.

We aim to make your experience seamless and enjoyable without any extra fees for the necessities.

The Kitchen space is perfect for hands-on cooking and large parties, while our intimate Wine Barn is ideal for smaller intimate groups.

In warmer months, guests can enjoy the garden seating and greenhouses for a unique farm-to-table experience.

What is the cancellation policy in case we have to change our event date or cancel specifically due to weather?2023-12-11T16:52:25-08:00

Events canceled with a minimum of 30 days notice may transfer the deposit to a new stated date.

In the event that roads are impassable, and The Kitchen is closed for inclement weather, we will happily transfer your deposit to a future date.

Our main kitchen space can comfortably accommodate groups up to 30 for a seated meal. The Wine Barn can accommodate up to 12. However, when weather permits, our garden space allows us to cater to much larger groups up to 100.

To ensure the best staffing and service during your visit, a 20% service charge is included in all event quotes.

This allows us to enhance your overall experience and provide exceptional service throughout your event.

Is a deposit needed to reserve an event date?2023-12-11T16:52:55-08:00

Yes, we do require a non-refundable deposit of $500 upon reservation.

Following your event, we’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance. This ensures a smooth and convenient payment process for your reservation

As your event approaches, we’ll connect with you via email or phone to collaboratively create a customized seasonal menu tailored to your unique vision.

While we’ll offer suggestions and options, the floor is open for your specific requests and desires. Your dream menu is our priority, and we’ll work together to make it a reality.

As our calendar tends to fill up quickly, we recommend reaching out at least 1-2 months prior to your desired event date to secure availability. However, we are flexible and will do our best to accommodate your schedule if the date is still available.
