The Kitchen at Middleground Farms has become known for our farm-to-table family-style dining, especially in the summertime.
Dinners in the Garden is a four-course, family-style dinner prepared by our team of chefs using ingredients sourced straight from our garden and surrounding farms. Join us and dine alongside friends, family, and neighbors while enjoying a sunset view amid the bustle of dinnertime on the farm!
Doors open at 6 pm and you are welcome to wander the gardens and visit the animals while snacking on small bites. Dinner will start promptly at 6:30, where you will find your spot at one of our many options, both inside and out.

Menu
This seasonal menu will be crafted closer to the event, with changes made up to the moment you arrive! That’s the beauty of cooking from the garden.
But we will be enjoying bone-in whole-roasted pork loin finished in the wood fired oven with a supporting menu, inspired by the garden.
We offer vegetarian and gluten-free options only. Please mention dietary restrictions in the comments section of your registration.
Wines
Our sommelier, Jean Householder, will curate a beautiful wine pairing for each course, from your welcome beverage, through four additional courses. We ask that you pre-order the pairing, but it will also be available the night of the dinner. Wine by the bottle is also available that evening.
Seating
Four options are available at each seating:
In the Kitchen Seating
- Chef’s Table – located inside the Kitchen for up to 20 guests, tickets sold individually
- Table for Two – 4 bistro tables with seats for up to 2 guests
In the Garden Seating
- Depending on the number in your party, you will be seated in a Gazebo or Greenhouse. Regardless if you are a party of 2 or 20, you will have your own table to enjoy privately. Indicate whether you are joining any other groups that are registered under a different name so we may seat you together.
NOTE: All Garden seating options are covered. If the weather permits, more seating will be available the week of the event in the Garden & in the Courtyard.

An optional wine pairing for each course is available to preorder for $50.
For Large Groups
If you have a party larger than 10, call The Kitchen at 503-746-3030 to allow us to assist you with your reservation.
Additional Considerations
REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES: Tickets are dinner-specific and “rain or shine” and cannot be refunded or exchanged for other dates, but may be transferred to other guests. Please contact us with contact information for the friends or family you gift them to.
CHILDREN: These events are intended for adults, therefore we do not recommend children attend due to the length of the evening.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of our events, classes, and dinners, all payments are non-refundable or exchangeable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. However, we are unable to refund, exchange, or apply a credit to another offering. All payments are final.
