Summer Kids Camp – August
If you’ve got a budding chef in the works, or you just want raise a more competent little human in the kitchen, this is the place for your child for Summer Break.
Your kiddo will be grouped with peers their age and work together in The Kitchen, on the farm, and in the greenhouse to make each day special. From kitchen cleanliness and safety, through basic knife skills with a focus on efficiency and working smarter through fun and engaging meal preparation. They will spend time outside on the farm, learning the importance of the connection between the garden and kitchen, spending time with the animals, and learning some basic life skills!
By the fourth day, we think your savvy new farm-enabled cook will be begging to show off their improved kitchen skills at home, with a greater respect for where there food comes from. This class is designed for kids ages 8-13.
What?
The kids will spend time both on the farm and in The Kitchen, getting a deeper understanding of where food comes from. They’ll get to be with farm animals, plant and harvest plants and spend plenty of time in The Kitchen cooking!
Who?
This camp is designed and led by our chef team, including owner Chef Jessica, lead Chefs Kate & Katie, farm Chef Jeremiah, and culinary artist Chef Jason (who can make amazing balloon animals!) Our team of farmhands (our favorite teens!) lead games outside.
When?
The camp goes from Monday through Thursday. Drop off starts anytime after 9 am. Snacks and lunch will be served around 1 pm. Pick up is at 3 pm sharp, but you are welcome to hang around the property to meet the animals and enjoy the sunshine and gardens.
