Is this the year you are going to really get ahead of your gardening? Need a little help? We've designed monthly 1st Saturday Gardening Classes to help guide you through Oregon's gardening season. If you are new to gardening, or just need the motivation to get back into the game, you should come join us for lists, plans and know-how from the people that grow The Kitchen's summer harvest.
Here's what to expect in these two-hour long garden primer classes: you'll join us in the greenhouse and the garden to learn everything from soil amendment, starting seeds, potting up, transplanting, all the way through harvesting. You'll learn things about companion plants, weed and pest management and how to best irrigate.
You Will Learn
For this first class, we'll talk about the things you can do NOW to get your garden started, and you'll even leave with some things to grow in your own warm spot at home.
You'll also leave with a plan for what you need to do in March to have your best garden this year.

Due to the nature of our events, classes, and dinners, all payments are non-refundable or exchangeable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. However, we are unable to refund, exchange, or apply a credit to another offering. All payments are final.
