This is the best time of year to focus on plant based meals - come see why at the farm!
Plant Based Meals: Autumn Bounty
A diet rich in things from the earth is not just for vegetarians, but many of us are only comfortable with the basics of meat-and-potato cookery. Join us as we gain inspiration from the rich fall vegetable harvest, and learn how to eat a rich, filling, satisfying plant-focused diet.
Together we’ll learn how to give depth to vegetables by roasting and how to turn that into a delicious soup that is creamy without cream.
We’ll make a rustic free-form galette filled with hearty wild mushrooms and kale. We’ll enjoy brussels sprouts baked into a creamy crowd pleaser. For dessert, we’ll bake cookies to mimic the flavors of everyone’s favorite Girl Scout cookie!
As always, this hands-on cooking class culminates in a family-style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables. Enjoy a welcome beverage or bubbles upon arrival and another beverage with your meal! All non-alcoholic beverages are also included.
