Gina Hennen

Gina Hennen

Director of Winemaking and Viticulture

After spending several years as a semiconductor engineer in Oregon and Dublin, Ireland, winemaker Gina Hennen returned to the Pacific Northwest in 2006 in pursuit of a career without cubicles. She found it upon her return to Oregon where she snagged a harvest job and enrolled in winemaking classes. Nearly 20 years later, she hasn’t looked back, and serves as Director of Winemaking and Viticulture for Adelsheim Vineyard.

Gina is an active participant in the Willamette Valley winemaking community, currently serving on the Oregon Wine Board Research committee and the Willamette Valley Technical Tasting committee. In previous years she volunteered her time on the Chardonnay Technical Tasting committee, the OWB education committee, the LIVE technical group committee, and as Board of Directors President for the International Pinot Noir Celebration.

More About Adelsheim

Adelsheim Vineyard was founded with an optimistic spirit and a lofty dream: To create World-Class wines in an undiscovered wine region, the Chehalem Mountains of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Over 50 years of winemaking have shaped their commitment to quality. It begins in the vineyard and continues in the cellar, where tradition meets innovation. With each vintage, they refine their techniques, explore new possibilities, and create world class pinot noir, chardonnay and sparkling wines that are more expressive and exciting than the last.
