Well, it’s still cool here!

After a taste of Summer on Mothers day Oregon reminds us we are still in the Pacific Northwest! Our lettuce and snow peas dont mind though! Brussel sprouts are just finishing up and we officially have every Herb we could need.

WHAT’S NEW
This week we had a great time teaching our gardening class everything there is to know about what to do in June! We planted some tomatoes together and talked about everything from best watering practices to trellising and best harvest practices. Everyone left with a small sampling of some interesting things like Garlic Scapes! 

THIS WEEK’S RECIPE
This week’s recipe is a great way to use some spring peas and fava beans if you have them. it would also work well with some garlic scapes!
