Bruno Corneaux
Owner and Winemaker of Domaine Divio
Fourth generation Vigneron from the village of Meloisey in Burgundy, France
While working on his Master’s Degree in Enology & Viticulture, Bruno gained extensive scientific knowledge as a Chemistry Analyzer. After earning his degree, Bruno enhanced his knowledge with international work experience in vineyards and wineries in South Africa, California, Oregon and Washington. In 1999, he made the move to the South Pacific, successfully developing the first 10 acre-vineyard and produced award winning wines on the island of Tahiti.
In 2012, Bruno started to create his own wines with a vision to craft the perfect Pinot Noir from the best area in the Willamette Valley, and to him, that was in the heart of Ribbon Ridge. He found his gem in 2014, where he planted the Clos Gallia Estate, a stunning 20-acre property located just outside of the heart of Newberg.
Bruno brings many of his experiences throughout his winemaking career into what he crafts for Domaine Divio, all while staying true to his French roots and highlighting the elegant nuances of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
More About Domaine Divio
The Domaine Divio Estate was purchased by Bruno and Isabelle Corneaux in 2014. Up until the first harvest off of their Clos Gallia Vineyard in 2017, Bruno was able to use his close relationships with wine growers throughout the region to secure fruit from some of Oregon’s most sought-after vineyards. The aim was to highlight the unique characteristics prevalent in each of the Willamette Valley’s sub AVAs through minimal intervention winemaking techniques.
Domaine Divio’s Tasting Room opened in the Fall of 2015. Tasting appointments are offered daily along with the option to book a Prestige Experience. Domaine Divio hosts events monthly that are open to their wine club members and the public.
