The chefs cooking and teaching at Middleground Farms love their work, and the team of other hospitality professionals that all collaborate to make your experience special. But this is a time we won’t be collaborating – we are letting our individual chefs run wild, making their dream food. The food that speaks to their heart when one pushes themselves creatively as an artist.

A bit more about Chef Jason

Jason has been passionate about cooking for at least a decade now, with teaching becoming a more recent and unexpected joy. In all seriousness and relatability, hunger was the spark of his inspiration. Growing up with parents who weren’t the greatest cooks, Jason was encouraged to try everything, fostering his love for a wide range of foods.

His favorite part about what he does is not just the freshness of the farm ingredients or the opportunity to work with diverse cuisines and techniques, but the simple pleasure of making delicious food and sharing it with happy people.

Menu

He is inspired by his life moving from the East Coast (New Jersey) to his home in Portland. A play on East to West throughout 6 or so courses.  His flawless technique and knife skills coupled with a passion for garnish will be represented using scallops..braised beef…. we can’t wait to see the menu!

Available Options

Three options are available:

Family-style seating at the Chef’s Table, limited to 20 people
Four bistro tables, accommodating two guests each
Wine barn, for up to 10 guests

Per Person Pricing

A per-person cost of $150, which includes dinner and pairings.  Gratuity is optional.

For Large Groups

If you have a party larger than 10, call The Kitchen at 503-746-3030 to allow us to assist you with your reservation.

Additional Considerations

Chef Jason is pleased to offer options for guests requiring a gluten free or dairy free menu. However, due to the nature this evening’s menu, we regret that we cannot guarantee accommodations for other dietary restrictions.
