Date Night: What the Duck?!
Most people find duck a bit intimidating, but would love to include this interesting protein into their diets. Prepare to learn and enjoy some delicious duck dishes that you will be able to recreate with ease! We will be working with all the familiar parts of a duck.
We will start with two different preparations: searing duck breast for a twist on classic Duck a l’Orange and preserving the legs into duck confit. We will learn how to put decadent duck fat to use for the crispiest potatoes and make a salad topped with a rich, poached duck egg.
One ticket to this class is for two people.
As always, this hands-on cooking class culminates in a family-style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables. Enjoy a welcome beverage or bubbles upon arrival and another beverage with your meal! All non-alcoholic beverages are also included.
