Foodie’s Night Out: Flavors of Germany
Don your lederhosen and dirndl! Join us in preparing some traditional dishes fit for any Oktoberfest beer tent, but better. Have you ever made a traditional soft pretzel? You’ll learn the basics of this traditional dough, then learn the twist, boil and bake that makes this beg for mustard.
We’ll scrape classic spaetzle into cheesy perfection – with a traditional tool and with a weeknight workaround that you already have at home. We’ll ask you to use your strength to pound chicken breasts into thin cutlets to bread and fry. And for a sweet treat, you’ll learn how to make a traditional honey-spiked yeasted cake.
As always, this hands-on cooking class culminates in a family-style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables. Enjoy a welcome beverage or bubbles upon arrival and another beverage with your meal! All non-alcoholic beverages are also included.
