Foodie’s Night Out: Spain!
So many great things come from a Spanish pantry: saffron, manchego, chorizo, pimenton, anchovy, sherry vinegar…Let’s use them all to create a celebration around the traditional Spanish dish, Paella! We’ll use fresh, seasonal Pacific Northwest seafood to make a delectable seafood and chorizo paella. Starting with the technique of the perfect roasted sofrito, to the timing of how you assemble the classic paella, you’ll have the confidence to make an event out of this at home. You’ll also learn other great tapas techniques & sauces to round out the meal.
Sommelier Jean Householder will also curate some beautiful Spanish wines to go with the meal!
