Are you tired of all the heavy holiday food? We are, too!
Plant Based Meals: For the Love of Vegetables
A diet rich in things from the earth is not just for vegetarians, but many of us are only comfortable with the basics of meat-and-potato cookery. Join us as we gain inspiration from the winter vegetable harvest, and learn how to eat a rich, filling, satisfying plant-focused diet.
Together we’ll learn how to give depth to vegetables and fruits by roasting and how to turn that into a delicious, well-rounded dishes that work well as sides or the main event. We’ll practice making soup by using the chowder method. And we’ll make the umami-packed onions you’re seeing all over social media – they’re delicious!
As always, this hands-on cooking class culminates in a family-style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer upon arrival and another with your meal! All non-alcoholic beverages are also included.
