It feels like Summer!

The weather is staying consistently warm and it’s time to plant our tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, beans, and basil! The warmth is bringing an end to our lettuce as it begins to get bitter and bolt (go to flower). We will be replacing them with fennel, basil, chard, and more beets.

At the moment we are harvesting:

  • all the herbs you can imagine
  • rhubarb
  • spinach
  • rainbow chard
  • broccoli
  • green onion
  • purple radish
  • beets

THIS WEEK’S RECIPE
Our Citrus Vinaigrette was hit at our Mother’s Day Brunches this weekend, and we served it with simple lettuce greens, asparagus tips and beautiful red clover flowers that were from our production bed cover crop. We thought you should have the recipe. It’s a nice bright vinaigrette with plenty of zest for a late spring salad!
