Strawberries Going Strong
This week’s heat had kept summer going and our summer crops are loving it! Preparing for fall has been no easy feat, but this weather gives us a little buffer time to get things planted.
WHAT’S NEW
We have been keeping up on our summer crop harvest, including cucumbers, summer squash, tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries. Yes strawberries! We have three ever-bearing varieties planted alongside our June-bearing varieties. Ever bearing produce fruit in smaller spurts throughout the summer, whereas June bearing varieties produce an abundance throughout the month of June.
