Jessica and Paden West
Owners & Winemakers
JESSICA
For over a decade, Jessica served as co-Winemaker at Harper Voit, where she helped craft some of the Willamette Valley’s most thoughtful small-production wines for clients like Eminent Domaine, Five Fourteen Vineyards, and Moffett Vineyards. In 2025, she stepped away to focus fully on Approachment Wines—where they focus on precision, creativity, and integrity.
PADEN
After graduating, Paden was offered an Assistant Winemaker position for highly acclaimed winemaker Isabelle Muenier of LAVINEA at the Carlton Winemaker’s Studio, managed by Anthony King – now both mentors. After 6 years, Paden accepted the Winemaker position at Failla Oregon, working with Ehren Jordan. in 2022, Paden became head Winemaker for Benza Vineyards, crafting Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling wines in the Laurelwood District, AVA. While Paden is Winemaker for Lytle-Barnett and Aubaine, Approachment still lives at Benza along with winemaking clients.
THE DUO
With Jessica and Paden achieving their respective winemaker positions, Paden strongly feels:
“You don’t get to a position you love, unless you do it with the person you love”.

Approachment is now the continuation of each career path combined into a joint expression of Jessica and Paden’s combined talents, skill sets, palates, and creative outbursts.
They may or may not occasionally get into a heated disagreement when it comes to blending…
What does the future hold? Well…they’ll just have to find out together.

Available Options
Three options are available:
- Family-style seating at the Chef’s Table, limited to 20 people
- Four bistro tables, accommodating two guests each
- Wine barn, for up to 10 guests
Per Person Pricing
A per-person cost of $175, which includes dinner, pairings, and gratuity.
For Large Groups
If you have a party larger than 10, call The Kitchen at 503-746-3030 to allow us to assist you with your reservation.
Additional Considerations
Please let us know if you or any of your guests are vegan, vegetarian or have a gluten intolerance.

This is a single seat ticket at our Chef’s Table and includes the following for one guest:

Table for Two
This is a ticket for two (2) guests at a bistro table and includes the following for each guest:
- dinner
- pairings
- service
Price: $350
GROUP: Wine Barn Reservation
Reserve the Wine Barn for this event, and we will contact you to coordinate details. The Wine Barn accommodates 4-10 guests.
NOTE: The final invoice will be issued the night of the event based on the number of guests minus the deposit.
Price: $50 Deposit
