Our chefs love what they do — cooking, teaching, and collaborating with our incredible team of hospitality professionals to make every experience at The Kitchen special. But this dinner is something entirely different.
For one night, we’re setting collaboration aside and letting each chef run wild. This is their moment to create the food that speaks to their soul — the dishes they dream about, the flavors that push them creatively, and the kind of cooking that reminds us all why food is an art form.

A bit more about Jason
Jason has been passionate about cooking for at least a decade now, with teaching becoming a more recent and unexpected joy. Some random facts about Jason include his move to Portland from the East Coast about two years ago, attending Johnson and Wales in Providence, RI for culinary education, holding an official rejection letter from the state of California in a humorous attempt to take his ferrets at the border, being mildly proficient at creating balloon animals and that his favorite food is Spicy Miso Ramen.

Available Options
Three options are available:
Family-style seating at the Chef’s Table, limited to 20 people
Five bistro tables, accommodating two guests each
Wine barn, for up to 10 guests
Per Person Pricing
A per-person cost of $165, which includes dinner, pairings, and gratuity.
For Large Groups
If you have a party larger than 10, call The Kitchen at 503-746-3030 to allow us to assist you with your reservation.
Additional Considerations
Please let us know if you or any of your guests are vegan or have a gluten intolerance.
Single Seat at the Chef’s Table
This is a single seat ticket at our Chef’s Table and includes dinner, pairings, and service for one guest.
Price: $165
The optional wine pairing ($35) can be added to each ticket at the time of purchase.
Table for Two
This is a ticket for two (2) guests at a bistro table, and includes dinner, pairings and service for each guest.
Price: $330
The optional wine pairing ($35) can be added to each ticket at the time of purchase.
GROUP: Wine Barn Reservation
Reserve the Wine Barn for this event, and we will contact you to coordinate details. The Wine Barn accommodates 4-10 guests.
NOTE: The final invoice will be issued the night of the event based on the number of guests minus the deposit.
Price: $50 Deposit
